Local Survey: 92% of Consumers Satisfied with Real Estate Broker Services

The survey shows that 92% of real estate market consumers are satisfied with the services provided by real estate agents, marking the highest level since the first survey was conducted in 2012.
The Real Estate Agents Council carries out a public perception survey every three years. The latest round was conducted between October and November last year.
In a statement, the Council said that the percentage of consumers satisfied with real estate agent services in the latest survey was higher than the 85% recorded in the 2018 survey, and significantly higher than the 77% in the 2021 survey.
Consumers also believe that it is still valuable to use real estate agents when buying or selling homes. The top three reasons they give for doing so are: transactions can be completed more quickly through an agent’s network and contacts, agents can assist with paperwork, and agents can help negotiate better sale prices or rental rates.
The survey also found that when choosing a real estate agent, consumers prioritize factors such as the reputation and performance of the real estate agency the agent works for, as well as the agent’s own personal reputation and track record.
