Wellness attractions to be added near Marina Barrage, regional Porsche Experience Center to open in

Our country's tourism revenue last year exceeded expectations. Next, we will pursue the success and develop more tourism projects, including building a world-class attraction with the theme of health and wellness near the coastal dam, striving to build a reputation as an "urban wellness destination."
The new attraction covers an area of about four hectares. If the plan goes well, construction is expected to begin in 2027 and be put into operation by the end of 2030.
Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainable Development and Environment, who is in charge of trade relations, announced on Friday (May 10) in her speech at the Singapore Tourism Board’s Annual Tourism Conference that the Singapore Tourism Board will invite tenders in the coming months to develop wellness attractions on the southern coast.
“With the increasing demand for restorative and wellness experiences, we want to transform Singapore into an ‘urban wellness haven’… The new wellness attraction will be located near the Marina Barrage, leveraging the waterfront and Surrounding attractions create unforgettable experiences for visitors.”
The global health care economy has grown strongly in the past few years, reaching a total value of US$5.6 trillion (approximately S$7.6 trillion) in 2022, and is expected to reach US$8.5 trillion (approximately S$11.5 trillion) by 2027.
