A bus traveling in Malaysia suddenly caught fire, but fortunately, both the driver and passengers managed to escape in time.
According to Sin Chew Net, yesterday afternoon (1st), a little after 4 PM, a bus traveling from Baling to Sungai Petani suddenly caught fire.
Personnel from the Sungai Petani Fire and Rescue Department stated that they received a report around 4:36 PM yesterday that a bus had caught fire on Kuala Ketil Road.
He said that there was one driver and seven passengers on the bus at the time, all of whom escaped in time, with no casualties reported.
However, due to the intensity of the fire, the damage to the bus reached approximately 60%.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
