The government promised to continue to provide more support for people with disabilities. Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said three key areas for improvement include early intervention, helping people with disabilities find jobs, and providing more support for caregivers.

Speaking at a charity celebration in the evening, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong pointed out that it is important to provide assistance to people with disabilities early and continue to provide support after they graduate from special needs schools.

He said: "Most of the special needs schools in our country only enroll students under the age of 18. However, it is actually more difficult for people with disabilities to find jobs. The government is exploring how to allow these students to continue their studies after graduation, or to allow those who are able to work to smoothly enter the labor market."

The government is also exploring how to provide more support for caregivers so that caregivers can better plan for their own needs. The Prime Minister also emphasized that for our country to become a truly inclusive society, it cannot rely solely on the government and social groups, and everyone must do their part.
