Temperature in Bangkok expected to drop to 15 degrees Celsius

The lowest temperature in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is expected to drop to 15 degrees Celsius today and tomorrow (6-7).
According to reports, Suparat, director of the Climate Change and Disaster Center of Rangsit University, said that the temperature in Thailand will drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next few days. The lowest temperature in Bangkok and surrounding areas may reach 15 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in the north and northeast may drop to about 12 degrees Celsius.
This cool weather is expected to continue until around the 20th of this month, and then gradually warm up.
The Thai Meteorological Department said that a moderate high pressure or cold air mass continues to cover northern Thailand, the upper south and the South China Sea, which will cause the temperature in northern Thailand to drop by another 1 to 2 degrees Celsius today, accompanied by strong winds.
Northern, northeastern and central Thailand will experience cool to cold weather. The morning weather in the east, upper south and Bangkok and its surrounding areas will be cold. Mountaintops and plateaus will experience cold to extremely cold weather, and some areas may be accompanied by frost.
The Meteorological Department also advised residents in the north and south to pay attention to their health and beware of fire hazards caused by dry and windy weather.
