The Thai military has banned all Thai citizens working in Cambodian casinos and entertainment venues

The Thai military has implemented stricter control measures in border areas and, starting today (18th), has banned all Thai citizens working in casinos and entertainment venues in Cambodia from leaving the country.
According to a report by *The Bangkok Post*, the Thai military stated in a press release that as tensions between Thailand and Cambodia continue to rise, the armed forces will enforce stricter controls at all border checkpoints to ensure national and public safety.
The Thai Immigration Bureau has also urged Thais living in Poipet, Cambodia, to return to Thailand immediately.
In addition, the Thai government has established a special operations center tasked with managing and coordinating the situation along the Thai-Cambodian border. The center will be led by Deputy Defense Minister General Natthapon Nakpanich. A spokesperson will be appointed to provide daily updates and counter misinformation.
