Jerusalem shooting leaves six dead; Israeli forces raid West Bank.

Israeli forces launched a raid in the West Bank following a shooting incident in Jerusalem.
The shooting that occurred this morning was the deadliest attack in Jerusalem in nearly two years. Two gunmen opened fire at a bus stop at an intersection in northern Jerusalem, killing six people and injuring more than ten others.
According to Al Jazeera News, security sources revealed that the attackers were from the West Bank, and Israeli forces have gone to the relevant areas to conduct a manhunt.
Security officials disclosed that authorities are investigating how the gunmen managed to breach security and enter Jerusalem, as West Bank Palestinians are generally not allowed to enter without special permits.
So far, no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack. However, Palestinian militant groups Hamas and the Islamic Jihad (PIJ) have expressed “congratulations” on the attack.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu visited the site of the attack and said in a speech that Israel is fighting terrorism in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.
Netanyahu stated that Israel has thwarted hundreds of attacks in the West Bank this year, but failed to prevent this incident. He emphasized that Israel’s war against terrorism is ongoing.
