.An Israeli military spokesman said that only four areas of the base were slightly damaged and repairs were being carried out without affecting the operations of the entire base.
At the same time, news from the Israeli government revealed that Prime Minister Netanyahu convened a war cabinet meeting for the second time in less than 24 hours to discuss how to fight back against Iran. Israeli Army Chief of Staff Halevi said: "We are closely evaluating the situation. We remain at the highest level of readiness. Iran will bear the consequences of its actions and we will choose a corresponding response."
Tensions are boiling over in the Middle East. U.S. President Joe Biden hopes to prevent the spread of conflicts in the Middle East and reiterates the United States' commitment to Israel's security. The United States also emphasized that it does not seek conflict with Iran to avoid exacerbating tensions.
"We have made it clear that we do not seek war with Iran, and we have made that clear multiple times over the weekend and certainly since October," State Department spokesman Mike Miller said.
